Rubin has designed 1, 2 and 3 tier layer cakes. Don't get hungry.. These are made of perfectly rolled onesies, receiving blankets, playful toys, private label garments and more. Not appetizing, throw in couture silk flowers, imported ribbon and frost it with a Barney's gift card or a Tiffany silver spoon. Finally, tulle wrap completes what appears to be the greatest gift for the mother-to-be, and the giver is the star of every shower. Several clients have requested centerpiece cakes for special events. Celebrity requests have already come in. Rubin felt it was time for an alternative to the spoon and rattle. That tiny infant departments in just a few select retail venues lacks the finesse and the choices she prefers when gift giving. If it is all about presentation then Rubin has succeeded.
